Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ

September 1 was a beautiful, sunny day for the Nelson Pride Parade that started from the Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ district office and Wildflower Nelson School parking lot, and wended its way along Stanley Street to Victoria Street and through downtown Nelson. 

Ä¢¹½ÊÓƵ staff, students, families and education partners joined Nelson Pride organizers, West Kootenay community members and a wide array of organizations to celebrate the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and a caring, inclusive learning culture in our schools. 

It was a wonderful event full of vibrant costumes, clothing, lively music and happy faces. A great time was had by all!
